It's the place where everybody knows your name. Good old school family style cooking. I had the 5 breakfast burrito sausage and egg. Definitely a 10 I also had a steak smothered burrito which wasn't my favorite but I say it's worth a try
Mexico City Restaurant makes some of the best fried tacos I’ve had. They’re crispy on the outside, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor. It’s the kind of dish that keeps you coming back for more. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming vibe, and the service is friendly and attentive. If you’re looking to try something tasty and authentic, their fried racos are a must-order.
From the customer service to the food and drinks everything is magnificent! And I am not exaggerating. My partner and I are in Denver for a weekend and will definitely will be coming back before we get back to CT. The happy hour prices are definitely happy and the tacos are too die for. I’ll come back to Denver just to visit this place again! I wish I can pack this place and bring it back to CT with me shot out to Chad for making our experience a memorable one
Get the fried tacos! I also tried the elote, which I prefer on the Cobb but still tastes great. We had an amazing time at the bar, and the service was top-notch. It’s hard to go wrong with amazing prices for downtown in LoDo.
Love the chicken tacos. Definitely the sauce provided makes them that much better. I tried the steak tacos, but it didn’t live up to the chicken tacos for my liking. #ChickenTacos
Dimarco is absolutely incredible—an amazing waiter, host, and all-around great guy. From the moment you walk in, he greets everyone with such warmth and kindness, making you feel like family. It’s no surprise that people come in just to see him. He goes above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of, and his energy is infectious. Not to mention, the food is outstanding—delicious, flavorful, and served with genuine care. This place truly shines because of Dimarco and the incredible experience he creates. Highly recommend!
Our favorite steak tacos in Denver!!! These aren't in the same category as most other restaurants. They are not tiny little "street tacos." The tacos are fried and come with avocado, lettuce, and tomatoes with a good-sized tortilla. Their hot sauce is also phenomenal and really adds to the taco. Good Margs and a super friendly down to earth staff. Without the carne asada (steak) tacos this place would get a 4-star review, but those carne asada tacos are really that good. Yum!!! I have also found that it is better to eat there as sometimes if the tacos sit in the to-go container, they lose some of the crunch.
The best tacos in town...don’t tell anyone. No menu required; just sit down, get a shot and beer and say “three steak”. You will be rewarded. Make sure to get the special sauce from the fridge
